Shipping policy
If you are looking at this, it is fair to assume that you have, or are about to make a purchase from MX247 and we would like to assure you that we appreciate your business and aim for your experience with us to be nothing short of awesome.
Considerations
With postage, please take into consideration that weekends do not count. All lead times are in business days and exclude public holidays. We endeavour to process orders as they are paid for and ship the same day if placed before 3:00pm weekdays. All other orders will be processed the following business day. *All orders dispatched in 1-2 days*
As we are also a walk-in store, we do our best to maintain accurate stock levels for both the walk-in store and our online store, however, the inventory management team is human. If there is a discrepancy and we are unable to fulfill your online order the same day it is placed, we will contact you via phone or email and let you know what your options are. If we are unable to re-stock the item in a suitable time frame to meet your needs, a full refund will be provided.
Order Status & Tracking
Almost all goods will be shipped via Australia post and shipping times can be found here https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/calculate-postage-delivery-times/#/. Dispatch is based on items leaving our store located in Toowoomba, QLD, 4350. Aramex are used for bulky items and we are unable to ship these to PO Boxes. Express service only operates in certain areas for next day delivery. Once your order has been picked and packed, you will be sent an email containing tracking details.
MX247 will not accept accountability for ANY lost, damaged, stolen or pet destroyed orders.
Customs/Duties
International orders may be subject to local charges. Any customs or import duties and associated fees are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
MX247 cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned, and MX247 will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.
Every country has their own customs department, the easiest way to locate and contact them is to use Google and type in: "Customs and import duties - followed by the name of your country" and you will be able to navigate to the appropriate site and contact them to complete the delivery.
Sur-Ron Free Shipping Exclusions
Items will incur a $199 Freight Fee to WA, TAS & NT. Items in particular to this surcharge are Sur-Ron Motorbikes.
Fee's will also apply to Australian Remote Locations. Eg. Broome, Macquarie Island, Lord Howe, Thursday Island, Kangaroo Island, Russel Island, Rottnest etc) and we reserve the right to cancel any order to such location or adjust shipping fee's where necessary, we recommend Contacting Us on (07) 4632 1700 or via email admin@mx247.com.au for a Quote if you believe you may be subject to such charges.
Delivery Times vary from 2 ~ 14 Business Days (Excludes Public Holidays & Peak Periods). Remember - Large and Bulky items require more manual handling and may not arrive on estimated delivery day provided by couriers as these dates are based on Small Items.
*Additional Fee's May Apply for Missed Deliveries - Please Ensure you ship to an attended address to avoid any missed delivery.
All orders are packed and shipped securely boxed and items such as bikes, scooters or SurRon motorcycles will require some assembly and/or fitting - refer to our assembly page for assistance, or contact your local dealer to book in for assembly (Assembly fee's may apply).
Note: We do not Ship Large items to any P.O Boxes or Parcel Lockers. (Small Articles can be delivered to P.O Boxes via AusPost when selected at checkout)
Return to Sender
If your order is returned to sender, our friendly customer service team will contact you via phone or email. The order amount minus postage (unless at the fault of MX247) will be refunded immediately and you can simply re-place the order over the phone when contacted by our team or online with the correct details to have the order re-shipped.
